CONGRATS TO ME! EDIT Jan 18

Yes, I am here to bang the drum, it is worth your time to check out Romance blogs, so far this month I have won 3 books, just by popping in and leaving a comment.

But book giveaways are not the only reason to check out romance blogs, romance authors are very accessible, and more than eager to offer advice to an unpubbed, and to share their 'call stories' and the road (often rocky) they traveled to the final destination of being a romance author. Plus, these ladies like to have fun, which to me, is the whole point of blogging.

Now, this is just sheer luck, the month of December, I won nothing.
But the one I am most proud of was in October, when at Romance Bandits we were asked for the release of Anna Campbell's 'Captive of Sin', to come up with a wedding scenario for her hero and heroine. Out of over a hundred postings, I was chosen with 3 other ladies. I won for something I wrote. THAT made my entire autumn.

The books I have won so far this month? (I would say I reached my quota)
  • One Dance With A Cowboy by Donna Alward~~~~ Petticoats and Pistols Blog
  • Does She Dare? by Tawny Weber ~~~~~~~~~~~~The Romance Dish Blog
  • The Phoenix Charm by Helen Scott Taylor ~~~~~~The Romance Dish Blog

Stop by sometime at a romance blog, you won't be sorry~cheers

EDIT Jan 18-I won a prize pack at Romance Dish today, for my WRITING, that means so much to me, a real much needed boost. Again, plunge in to romance blogs, you won't be sorry.

Congratulations, Karyn! You're having a wonderful run of luck there. And of course your writing won some contests. :) I'll admit I haven't had the courage to enter any of those writing contests (takes me a while to work up the courage for these things.)

Karyn, oh, my goodness. I didn't realize you had a blog. How cool is that?
You are doing a super, super, super job of writing endings--or middles?---to TRD vignettes. You rock, Girl!
